Perigon’s founding focus was bringing together corporate strategy and sustainability, so ESG runs absolutely core to what we do.
Although the world has been fickle about ESG over the last 5 years, we have held onto our simple belief: business has a key role in reshaping our economy to one that can sustain future generations…if only they can cut out the noise around ESG and focus on what really matters most …and those that embrace that role will build a fundamental long-term advantage.
We are not technical or risk experts in this space. The value we add is in building an evidence base of what actually matters, giving the businesses the confidence and language to focus on this (and withstand stakeholder pressures to do more), and embedding these priorities into the core business strategy. Some of what we do, of course, strays into carbon accounting and regulatory reporting, but always with a pragmatic, holistic lens.
