Generative AI (GenAI) – aka the largelanguage models (LLMs) like ChatGPT – entered the mainstream less than a yearinto Perigon’s life. We always had the aim to disrupt the traditional pyramid structure consulting model (few expensive partners, armies of juniors), and the way that GenAI has developed over the last 3+ years has made that possible.

We are not AI trainers, nor would we call ourselves experts. For a technology that’s so new and whose capabilities are doubling every 7 months, we are sceptical about anyone who claims to know it all.

However, we’ve experimented a lot – all in the context of strategy and sustainability. We’ve been amazed and disappointed. We’ve worked through challenges like privacy and model limitations. We’ve built custom agents, explored a multitude of tools, developed our prompting skills and kept up (just about) as the landscape has evolved.

When we realised that none of our clients – small or large – were exploring AI to the same extent, we started sharing our own findings on how AI can enhance their work and when it should be avoided.
