Perigon emerged from the basic belief (built from the founders’ lived experience) that companies must build sustainability into their core strategy and operating model to thrive long term.
This was in 2021, when the two founders (Emma and Nick) left senior careers in corporate strategy and sustainability. They quickly cemented Perigon's Purpose and Values - its north star to direct efforts and unite people - and started working towards B Corp certification from the outset.
Not long later, Perigon welcomed its first permanent team member and started building a tight network of trusted partners to continue its growth. These partners have complementary skillsets and talented team members that we work with to deliver for our clients.
We were thrilled to become a Certified B Corporation™ at the start of 2024, having been a Pending B Corp as we built up our early years of trading. B Corp underpins our public commitment to run Perigon in an inclusive and sustainable way, meeting high standards of social and environmental performance.
We achieved an impact score of 107.7, which you can see in our public B Corp profile, and are committed to improving this over time.
Perigon is also committed to reaching net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and has set interim 2030 targets that are aligned to the latest climate science and a 1.5 degree celcius pathway.
We are members / supporters of alliances where relevant to our client offering and business purpose, helping us to remain at the leading edge of sustainability developments.
